I think everybody read the new regulations of Hungary. We don’t want to cancel the event.
Be patient with a little patience. The new rule not presented in written version and probably the sporting event get special dispensation, We’ll meeting with organisers at Monday and we’ll send the information after.
CE Cup 2020 will be
CE Cup 2020 will be held. The pandemic situation getting better in Europe that we can held the Pre-European Championship in Szeged at September. We have 32 entries in this moment and the final entry date is 10th July. The entry fee is 100 EUR only and we will give gas for the training flights too.
We are waiting you with three event: Szeged International Airshow, Central European Cup 2020 – Pre-European Championship and the BorTér wine festival.

New closing entry date
We changed the closing entry date to 10th July and the entry fee is 100 euros. We will pay back the entry fee if we need to cancel the event but HOPE TO SEE YOU IN SZEGED!
Hungary eases coronavirus restrictions after two month lockdown. Now Hungary entered “phase 2” of its lockdown, as companies reopen with social distancing measures in place except in Budapest and the county around because there are the most infected persons.
Hungarians must wear face masks on public transportation and in public spaces. Pubs and restaurant are open but they can accept the guest in open space only.
Here all big gatherings till 15th August cancelled but the Szeged city planning a big festival just after. So, we have good chance to hold the event. The last decision to go or not will be 10th July but we are hoping the best.
The invitation of CE Cup 2020 is published
We would like to invite you to the 4th Central European Cup – Pre-Europeans hot air balloon competition and to the 5th Szeged Ballon Cup fiesta and the 4th Szeged International Airshow which is the largest flying event in the region and the BorTér wine festival.
CE Cup 2020
The Central European Cup 2020 will be a Category 1 event from 14th to 18th September. It will be Pre-European Championship too. The closing ceremony will be at Friday evening and the World Championsip will start at Sunday in the neighbour country, Slovenia.
The before weekend will be the Szeged International Airshow and the BorTér wine festival will start at 16th September in the city. We can accept 60 competitors only. The entry fee is 100 EUR before 10th May 2020 and 300 EUR between 10th May – 15th June 2020. Includes gas, electronic map, light breakfast and lunch, dinner on the Awards Ceremony only for 4 persons/team, free camping facilities on the airport.
The invitation process will start in this year, latest 10th December 2019.
The winners
We had seven flights and 24 tasks during this nice week. We started with an amazing Opening Ceremony at the Franciscan Monastery and finished at the Szeged Airport during the Airshow. You may find the event details and results on the Electronic Notice Board here.

Entry Closing Date
Do not forget the entry closing date is 14th June 2014 for the 1st Women Europen Cup and 3rd Central European Cup hot air balloon competition and to the 39th Hungarian National Championship and to the 4th Szeged Ballon Cup fiesta .
Don’t miss it and come to Szeged where will be the 22nd European Championship in 2021 too.
End of reduced entry free period
